About access control systems

An access control system determines who is allowed to enter or exit a particular area. Access control allows the business owner the ability to quickly and easily permit or deny access from the convenience of a computer terminal at a specified location. 

Our access control system not only permit and deny entrance but also records and keeps track of persons entering or trying to enter a particular area. Even when a person tries to enter a particular area, and is not authorised by your settings, the attempt is recorded.

In more sophisticated systems the access control system can be linked to a CCTV system so that the person trying to gain access is recorded also.

There are many types of readers available to allow access, keypads, card readers, and biometric readers being the most popular, though we have numerous others to choose from.
